A fine bust of Bodhisattva Gupta period circa: 300-600 A.D

A large and rare stone bust of Bodhisattva (Buddha as a prince). Gupta period circa 500-700 A.D, from north India. with serene face, bow-shaped mouth and full lips beneath an aquiline nose, arched eyebrows in relief and heavy-lidded eyes, wearing jewels and earrings, his hair decorated and secured with a high turban elaborated with beads and strings of pearls.

Height: 39 cm ( Height with hard wood custom stand is 48 cm ) Weight: 16.9 kg

Condition: In a good condition without any restoration or repairing. A minor part of dharma chakar (Circle of enlightenment) is missing from the left side. With minor corrosion and aging chips all around (see pictures for more details)
